Mrs Jones - English - She made me stop saying Shreve"s"port. We lived in Bossier City before we moved to Marshall and the history of Shreveport/Bossier was all about Cap. Shreve and his inland port on the Red River; it was known as Cap. Shreve's port, hense my term - Shreve"s"port.
